Overview
Nonpareil Estate Falls is a striking three-cascade waterfall located within Nonpareil Estate near Belihuloya in the Ratnapura District of Sri Lanka's Sabaragamuwa Province. The provincial tourism authority documents the waterfall within the estate and describes it as visible from the road toward World's End through Nonpareil.
The cascade has a stepped appearance that stands out against the surrounding tea-estate landscape. Sabaragamuwa Tourism describes three cascades and gives an approximate height of 37 metres. The measurement is treated as an estimate rather than a precise visitor-site survey.
One of the key features of Nonpareil Estate Falls is its visibility from the estate road that connects Belihuloya toward the Horton Plains region. Travellers often stop along this scenic mountain road to observe the waterfall without requiring a long hike.
Because the viewpoint is within a working estate, access should not be assumed to be permanently public. Respect gates and staff instructions, do not block the narrow road, and confirm current permission or restrictions locally before relying on this stop.
The provincial route guide also discusses a separate onward approach toward World's End through Nonpareil and describes it as narrow, mist-prone, and hazardous. Seeing this waterfall from the estate road does not confirm permission for, or continuity of, that longer route.
